ARSADI – The Dream (1984)

Out now via Rexius Records - Waterfall release with Closer, Towards a Remedy and Neon Moonlight

ARSADI release “The Dream (1984),” a danceable yet brooding track built around rhythmic guitars, keyboards, a groove-focused rhythm section, and layered vocals. An immediate opening gives way to instrumental breaks, pauses, and shifting dynamics, while the polished arrangement lets each part breathe. Against that movement, the lyrics draw on Orwellian imagery to examine manipulated truth, passive comfort, and the gradual erosion of freedom.

Based in Uppsala, ARSADI grew from frontman Anthony Bachtiar’s solo demos into a full band whose music balances careful songwriting with an energetic and playful performance style. Following the 2023 EP Introspections, the band entered a new chapter with Rexius Records, continuing to connect emotional songwriting, pop-minded hooks, literary references, and social reflection.

Released on September 11, 2026, “The Dream (1984)” is the fourth step in a five-single sequence and arrives as a waterfall release alongside “Neon Moonlight,” “Towards a Remedy,” and “Closer.” The release is supported by artwork from Feria Hikmet, photography by Gustav Aldin, social media visuals, and Swedish radio pitching.

ARSADI crafts emotionally rich indie rock shaped by shimmering synths, rhythmic guitar work, and sweeping vocals. Based in Uppsala, Sweden, their sound blends alt-leaning rock with the infectious energy of arena pop—perfect for euphoric playlists and emotionally charged road trip soundtracks. Fans of kent, Deportees, Shout Out Louds, and Coldplay will feel right at home in ARSADI’s lyrically rich world full of high emotion and captivating anthems.

Formed after frontman Anthony Bachtiar returned from music studies in London, ARSADI grew from solo demos into a full band driven by artistic exploration and playful energy. The group—Anthony, Nils Öberg, Feria Hikmet, and Malkolm Bonander—earned early acclaim through groove-tinged, eclectic pop that evolved into a bold, unified sound: Indie rock with soaring melodies, textured production, anthemic pop hooks, and emotional resonance.

Their 2023 EP Introspections marked a turning point, praised for its polished production and lyrical depth. Tracks like Overcome the Night and Fade In Fade Out explore anxiety, resilience, and the pursuit of happiness through poetic allegories and references to literature and visual art.

After winning regional competitions and repeatedly playing the biggest stage at Uppsala's Kulturnatten Festival, ARSADI enters a new chapter with Rexius Records. A fresh wave of releases will continue channeling their emotionally driven, high-energy sound toward the big stage.

"I don’t get it how they manage to succeed time after time. I’m still blown away of how good, professional and magnificent their music is. […] So extremely many people deserve to hear it because it is truly, sincerely, genuinely good. I really hope that more people will find ARSADI!"

"They always succeed with the art of outperforming themselves, to develop the band, tweak some knobs here and there so that the soundscape becomes more grandiose and magnificent for every release. ‘If You Were Mine’ is no exception. Upbeat. Contagious. Soaring. Majestic. All ingredients that (I hope) will take ARSADI out to the greater mass."

"ARSADI unleashes a musical daydream with, ‘If You Were Mine’, a track detailing the vivid imagination of a future based upon nothing more than the sight of a complete stranger. [...] The vocal style fits that dreamy vibe and the melody is soft and engaging. There is a definite Coldplay aura to this single, and the energy builds as the track progresses to keep you immersed in the lyrics and performance"
